Firefox Student Ambassadors

We are students who promote openness, innovation and opportunity on the Web.

About Us

Creative and resourceful, Firefox Student Ambassadors are volunteers who lead campaigns and projects at their colleges and in their communities to encourage other to contribute to Mozilla. Together, Firefox Student Ambassadors play a large role in helping to improve the global experience of people on the Web

The FSA program provides Student Ambassadors all the training, resources and support needed to develop their skills and potential in contributing to the open web. They get to represent Mozilla in their school and their school to the global Mozilla community.

What We Do

  1. Develop skills and potential

Student Ambassadors are provided with the opportunity to develop their potential and gain new skills in a very open and collaborative environment. The program provides the necessary training and support from other Mozilla contributors worldwide to help them accomplish their goals.

  2. Organize campaigns and events

FSAs are given the opportunity to plan and launch their own campaigns/ events and work with a dynamic group of people in the community. They can also choose to learn from higher-level events organized by local Mozilla Reps by helping in the event production. By being involved with campaigns and events, they get the chance to network with professionals and other students in the industry.

Contribution Areas

At Mozilla, we take pride on having a diverse community of contributors coming from all culture and industries. Firefox Student Ambassadors are given the opportunity to focus contributing to an area they believe their skills are most suitable at. We will help you get started and get the most out of your volunteer experience!
